Professor Boggs (aka Larry Morris) is a science teacher with both middle school and high school teaching experience. He is also a professional musician and songwriter with the Celtic band Emerald Rose. The "silly science songs" project was begun in late 2004 on the suggestion of his wife, Donna Governor (a veteran science teacher, Presidential awardee, and regular presenter at NSTA). These songs have been "student-tested" at Liberty Middle School, Otwell Middle School and East Hall Middle School (Georgia) with great success. These songs are developed on a Macintosh using Apple's Logic Audio and Propellerhead Reason, with a mix of live and virtual instruments.
